BASE is a prototype project I created. I love being able to monitor the status of, customise, and fine tune every aspect of my digital devices for optimal efficiency. I wanted to bring that functionality into a home monitoring app across multiple devices.

Today, the population has access to home smart meters, but can sometimes find it difficult to tell exactly where their home uses (and loses) most of it's energy. BASE turns your home into an energy efficiency powerhouse. By use of installed sensors and passthrough monitoring outlets - it links with and connects all your rooms and devices, and displays their energy usage, efficiency tips, and even monitors airflow in one convenient app.

My role in this project was idea formation and UI/UX designer, I wanted to keep the sign simple to use, with a dark and elegant look to the app while highlighting it's efficiency capabilities. I chose a dark grey palette, with a lime green accent. I tested the design on several users, received feedback and implemented them.
